About The Role:

The Senior Manager - Package/Plant Engineering will lead a team of engineers and drafters in the creation, coordination, and delivery of high-quality engineering output for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects. They will also ensure the provision of timely and accurate engineering drawing sets to customers.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the generation and delivery of engineering outputs, including P&ID, General Arrangement (GA) layouts, and Bill of Materials (BOM) for EPC projects..
  • Ensure the BOM is accurately filled into the SAP system, coordinating the supply chain management and procurement process.
  • Utilize and oversee the application of engineering software such as Plant3D, AutoCAD Mechanical, and other relevant tools to produce project deliverables.
  • Coordinate effectively with the Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) team to ensure alignment in project execution.
  • Ensure all engineering deliverables meet established standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, fostering a collaborative, productive, and positive work environment.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders and senior management.
Skill sets/Additional requirements:
Must have:
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A master's degree or other advanced education would be a plus.
  • A minimum of 12-14 years of experience in package/plant engineering, specifically in delivering engineering output for EPC projects.
  • Solid experience in the use of engineering software such as Plant3D, AutoCAD Mechanical, and other similar tools.
  • Proven experience in coordinating with E&I teams.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems for BOM management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in MS Office Suite and other relevant software.
Additional:
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
